 On February 16, the School of Business will welcome 750 alumni and friends back to campus for our annual 'VCU Means Business’ Basketball Reception and Game versus Old Dominion.
“Our reception and our block of tickets are filled to capacity. The response has been unbelievable,” says Doug Knapp, Director of Development and Alumni Affairs for the School of Business. “Our event has grown from a first year attendance of 20, six years ago, to this year's 750.”
Special guests at the reception will include Rodney the Ram, the VCU cheerleaders, dance team, band, and VCU President Eugene P. Trani.
More events for alumni will be planned in the future. The School of Business Alumni Board is working this year on the formation of a dedicated organization just for School of Business alumni. There will be increased communication and additional activities for business graduates, and there are no dues.
