Dr. Mike W. Little Named the Interim Chair of the Marketing Department

A hearty congratulation to David J. Urban as he assumes the Interim Dean position for the VCU School of Business. A longtime professor at VCU, David J. Urban is an excellent fit for the role of Interim Dean, and he replaces Dr. Michael Sesnowitz who served as the Dean of the School of Business for nine years. At this same time, I will be serving as Interim Chair of the Marketing Department so that Dean Urban can concentrate fully on his role as the Interim Dean. I am very excited about this new role and have prepared for it as a previous administrator in the VCU School of Business.

In my 25 years in the VCU School of Business, I have served as MBA program (both executive and evening) faculty advisor and have taught in both programs. I have also been the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and have taught undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing. I am excited about the opportunity to work with our students, faculty and the business community in my new role. Your comments and questions are always welcomed.
