5, 2007 Purpose: To involve alumni in
recognizing an outstanding graduate of the VCU School of
Business for his or her achievements in career, community
service, and service to the School of Business.
Selection Process: Nominations
may be made by VCU graduates, faculty, or staff. VCU School
of Business Alumni Board members will select the 2007
Alumnus or Alumna of the Year from the nominations
submitted. The winning nominee and nominator will be
notified by a member of the Alumni Board prior to a public
announcement in the school’s e-SUMMARY newsletter.
Award Presentation: The
School of Business Alumni Board will recognize the honoree
at the School of Business Honors Ceremony and Reception on
the evening of April 17, 2007 at SunTrust Bank in downtown
Richmond. Student and faculty awards will also be presented.
Criteria for Consideration:

Graduate of the VCU School of Business
or Richmond Professional Institute – completed
an associates, bachelors, masters, certificate, or doctoral
degree

Career Success
-
Community Involvement
-
Service to the VCU School of Business
-
Able to attend the School of
Business Honors Reception (April 17, 2007)

Current members of the School of
Business Alumni Board are ineligible.
