VCU Means Business Night! at the Siegel Center 2007

550 School of Business alumni and guests started off VCU Means Business Night! on January 20 with a fun-filled reception in the Siegel Center’s auxiliary gym.

Black & Gold spirit abounded, with appearances by the Pep Band, Cheerleaders, Dance Team, Rodney the Ram, as well as a DJ.  Speakers included VCU President Eugene Trani; Business Dean Michael Sesnowitz; Athletics Director Norwood Teague; Richard Zelenko, VP at Dominion (our primary sponsor); and Fred Facka of the School of Business Alumni Board.

Then we headed to the Alltel Pavilion to rock the stands and cheer on the Rams as they battled it out against longtime rival the Old Dominion University Monarchs.

Final score: 80-75 VCU Rams!

Thanks to the wonderful teamwork of Dominion, the Accounting Department, Fast Track Executive MBA, the Real Estate program, the Alumni Board, the Young Alumni Council and University Alumni Association – the event was an all-around success.

VCU Means Business! both on and off the court.

Basketball Star and Real Estate Major Jesse Pellot-Rosa took time to pose for a photo with Fred Facka (MS’91) and sons before the game.

Our thanks to Dominion for being the lead sponsor of VCU Means Business Night at the Siegel Center.   Pictured here is Richard Zelenko, Vice President.
