In a recent journal article entitled "Prolific Authors of Accounting Literature" published in Advances in Accounting, 2003, pp.95-125, Professors Ed Coffman and Rasoul Tondkar were ranked in their respective doctoral graduating class for the years 1968 to 1997 for their research productivity. Their research has been published in 40 selected accounting journals. The top 10 researchers based on the number of publications in the 40 journals were identified by year of doctoral graduation for the 30-year period. Dr. Coffman tied at the 9th rank for his class of 1973 which had 151 graduates. Dr. Tondkar tied for the 10th rank for the class of 1980 which had 136 graduates. Congratulations to both for such a significant achievement!
